RE: Getting Film Distribution without
Getting Ripped-off
Is this only for finished films? 95% of producers fail to raise money because their investors don't feel confident in their understanding of the distribution business.
Making money from your film, a dream? For many it has been a nightmare. They've invested their fortune and slaved for months, even years. When they wait for their first royalty check, they get a statement stating they actually “owe the distributor.”
But you've heard of someone who has made money, heck we have. Will you?
What do they know that you don't? Is there some secret?
Well I'm here to tell you there isn't. Only knowledge, experience, knowing what to watch out for and the pitfalls.
It can be done. I have done it successfully for the past 20 years and so can you.
Hi, my name is David Huey and I have been refining a system through 30 self-produced and distributed feature films and you know what? There are a several dozens of traps.
My company Cine Excel Entertainment has done more than at 1,000 deals and we've learned what to watch out for.
Normally we handle our own distribution through film markets such as Cannes, MipTV, MipCom, AFM. We've even done our own video distribution to Blockbuster, Hollywood Video and Rentrak. When my cousin produced a film and asked me for advice, I sat him down to let him know what to watch out for. And guess what?
There were so many loopholes & pitfalls to watch out for his notebook was filled.
So I did a group lecture on this and the crowd was shocked and stunned. After cancelling subsequent lectures due to production schedule conflicts, I decided this is information the independent filmmaker needs to know and if I recorded it once, I can virtually keep giving lectures.
And of those who took the seminar said...THIS INFORMATION IS PRICELESS.
And now... you too can be armed with information.
You do want to make money on distribution? My guess is YES!
That's why I created “Getting Film Distribution without Getting Ripped Off.” A complete case study and guide showing you exactly what you need to watch for in order to make money with your film.

“If I only had this when I made my first film”
David has a wealth of experience because he’s a producer and a distributor. He needs to make sure his films are profitable to stay in business.
— Ace Cruz, Director/Producer of 7 independent feature films www.spiritfilmsllc.com
“What you don’t know will hurt you…”
In distribution, not knowing what to watch out for, not knowing the terms, not knowing the loopholes may kill your chances of ever seeing money.
I give this course “thumbs up” for sure.
— Ray Guthrie, Film Distributor/President alphafilmgroup.com
“Knowledge will earn you respect”
When I negotiated my deal, they didn’t jerk me around because I knew what I was talking about. Even though I am a first time producer, they respected the fact I understood the terminology, asked the right questions and knew what I was talking about.
— John Lawson, Independent Film Producer
“Jam packed with information”
They say you can’t buy experience, but with e-filmschool you can. What is this course worth? It’s worth enough not to lose your film.

O.K. David... This Sounds Great... So How Much Is This Going To Cost?
That's a good question. But first you should be asking yourself how much your film is worth to you. Factor not just the money but the time and creative effort. The average no-budget film is about $30,000 to $40,000. The average low budget film is between $250,000 to $600,000. How about a film that is worth millions? Yes, value of the film not only budget but it's potentialearnings.
So if you were selling a $100,000 film that could bring in $1,000,000 what is the value of getting a good deal? Now the real question would be how much would you be willing to pay?
But let's get real here... we both know this is only an example. There are many other contributing factors. Such as... the quality of your film, the stars, the marketability and much, much, more.
We have heard the horror stories of how producers got ripped off and never saw a dime while distributors made big fat money. So again what would that information be worth to you?
Maybe three hours of consultation at $450... Maybe the $295 weekend seminar... Or possibly the $100 lecture... Don't worry it won't be any of those even though I could easily charge that. Unlike most distributors, I am also a producer and we producers need to make money in order to keep producing. You see... I have been where you are now… I got ripped off in my first film.
So I am going to do something special for you.
I want to make this work for you and me. This two hour DVD is only going to run you $39. A price anyone can afford. But do not let the cost fool you. It is worth a lot more. After the first run, the publisher will raise the cost to the suggested retail price of $89.
So for now it is only...$39.
How does that price compare to the amount of money you have already invested in your film? Around 1%?
Now you're probably saying to yourself: "An affordable cost, WHY?" That's a good question and here is my real goal... I know if I deliver and share with you exactly what I promise and, if I do so at an affordable cost, you will become one of my customers for our next lessons “Produce-along” a weekly course on how to produce an indie film from conception to distribution.
That's why I am offering such a great price...
So Here Is What You Will Be Receiving...
- A DVD jammed packed 23 videos running two hours. Not just with “talking heads” but filled with illustrations, animation, real case examples and chapter by chapter notes. With this guide I will show you step-by-step, what to watch out for, what to ask for, examples of formulas.
